ElectusPeople supports Aged Care Service Providers with experienced and competent staff for domestic cleaning and laundry services, as well as Nursing and Personal Care.

Right now, we are seeking laundry and cleaning staff to join our team to cover casual morning shifts at residential facilities between Monday and Friday.

Shifts are on a casual, day-to-day basis and will require you to be available at short notice on weekday mornings (from as early as 6am).

Depending on the facility you are assigned to, you will be responsible for ensuring resident rooms and communal areas are cleaned. Vacuuming and mopping in public areas will be carried out in line with the facility’s infection control program.

Duties also include collection of resident linen and personal clothing for laundering and following the facility’s process for using correct laundry agents. Waste management will be a part of this role.

This is a physical role that requires excellent team workmanship and communication, and the ability to follow instructions and WPH&S protocols.

Ideally, you will have similar laundry and cleaning experience in Aged Care settings, or you may have worked as a Domestic Support Worker in Community/In-Home Aged Care.

Practical working knowledge for Workplace Health and Safety guidelines, and Infection Control procedures will be an advantage.

Clear and confident English communication skills are essential as will your genuine love for work that cares for the elderly.
